awww Caroline!! I’m so happy for you!! I loved your vulnerability in this about your previous college experience and how you’ve transformed. It’s so important that people share the reality of life’s highs and lows, and how things don’t always work out how we planned, but there’s so much light ahead! I truly look forward to seeing what more you accomplish 🫶
this was so cool to read about and i am so proud of you!!!! such an amazing experience, thank you for sharing and i hope that you continue to foster that confidence in being a WRITER and a growing human who CAN do anything 🩷
i tend to let my anxiety hold me back but i’ve been trying to conquer it, despite physical reactions to it that can be really difficult to push through. this read was such an encouragement to me and a good reminder that rewarding outcomes are often on the other side of discomfort!
I'm so proud of you, Caroline! Your trip sounds amazing, and I am so glad you're able to walk away from your trip with the confidence to call yourself a writer... because you are one, and you've always been! You're super talented at what you do, and I'm glad you got to show that off at Yale. Keep up the good!
Caroline. You’re a freaking talent and I’m so glad I got to meet you. I will be the first buyer of your book and scream to everyone it’s sincerely Caroline cherry’s book. This was such a good post I absolutely devoured.
There are so many things about your Yale experience from the moment I dropped you off at the airport to the moment you got home that fill my heart with joy and leave me with a sense of amazement, but “doing the hard thing” is what started it all. The college experience that you got makes me feel giddy because my heart has hurt since August 2020 when I dropped you off 5 hours away from home and drove away with you standing in the rain, wearing a mask, not getting to do all the college things. All the sadness that followed is being redeemed and is a big part of your life story. I’m so thankful to God and so proud of you for all that’s happening now, the stuff you shared and the stuff you’ve yet to share. I love you.
i know we don’t know each other IRL but i’m so proud and happy for you!
i was tearing up by the end of this piece because of how much i relate, the constant comparing so paralyzing that it holds you back from doing the things you really wanna do, the anxiety that comes with pushing yourself to do the hard things.
i’m so happy that you had an amazing experience at yale! the campus must have been amazing 🥹
